DEER CAMP® Chicory is highly sought after and used for added flavors. Made from the root of the European Endive plant. Cut into slices, kiln dried and roasted in the same manner as coffee. Chicory has a sweetened flavor not unlike sweeter flavor cocoa. New Orleans is world famous for it dark roasted coffees laced with chicory.

This hot beverage tastes like coffee but is made of roasted chicory root instead of coffee beans.
